What Our Patients Are Saying About Us

Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) is the first national, standardized, publicly reported survey of hospital patients’ perspectives of their care. Many hospitals collect information on patient satisfaction. But, the HCAHPS initiative is the first nationwide standardized measurement and public reporting of patient satisfaction levels that allows valid comparisons to be made across hospitals. All short-term, acute care, non-specialty hospitals are strongly encouraged to participate. HCAHPS surveys will represent the feedback of 14% of patients receiving care at EHMC.
