The Medical Center attracts the best doctors and medical staff from around the world and from other leading hospitals. In addition to Seed Implants and External Radiation, David Dubin, M.D., Chief of Radiation Oncology has recently begun treating prostate cancer patients with HDR Brachytherapy — the latest prostate cancer treatment. Our Medical Center is the only facility in northern New Jersey with the necessary equipment and skill to perform this new precise, directed radiation therapy, which eliminates the dangers of surgery and allows the precise delivery of radiation – something not possible with traditional external beam radiation therapy alone. 

In addition to making a commitment that patients have access to the most current standards and highest quality of care, The Cancer Institute includes education aimed at cancer prevention and early diagnosis complimented by a wide array of diagnostic and therapeutic tools, patient support functions provided by psychiatry, physical and occupational therapy, social work, home care, support groups, pain management teams, and hospice. We also participate in clinical trials, cancer conferences, a multi-disciplinary cancer committee, a cancer registry with patient follow-up program and a continuous quality improvement program with outcomes measurements.
